Chad Sheesley did his undergraduate training at California State University, Chico, where he earned a Bachelors’ degree in Exercise Physiology and a Minor in Health Sciences. He also participated on the Chico State Baseball team for two years. After graduating from Chico State in the summer of 1999, Chad worked as an Exercise Physiologist in the Cardiac Rehab program at Woodland Memorial Hospital for two years. Chad was accepted in the Samuel Merritt College Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2003 and earned a Master’s degree as a Physicians Assistant. As a student, Chad completed his Orthopaedic rotation with Dr. Blumenfeld during the Summer of 2003. Chad joined the practice in November 2003. He works closely with Dr. Blumenfeld, assisting in the post-op care of patient. He also assists both surgeons in the operating room and with hospital rounds. Chad is an extension of Dr. Blumenfeld, which means he reviews each case with Dr. Blumenfeld. And since he is an employee of the practice, the billings reflect Dr. Blumenfeld’s charges and practice time. When not working, he enjoys golfing, baseball and spending time with his family. Traci, his wife, is a registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU at Sutter Memorial Hospital. They are high school sweethearts.
